In 2019, I was helping my children in STEM. This is something I am highly passionate about, having worked in the fields for decades... but... I wasn't getting through to one of my children. It wasn't sticking. I also wasn't willing to throw in the towel either as they were only 6 years old. I couldn't accept that their STEM journey was over already.
So I stopped and threw myself into figuring out another way. I researched. I read extensively. I talked to different professionals. And I tested lots of options. Then my light blub moment came. I finally cracked it! I switched things completely, adapted my approach and integrated completely new ideas. And it started working. STEM became fun and easy for them. Plus it became easy for me to support them in STEM.

Who is Emily?

This led her to develop the STEM SUPPORT SYSTEM to debunk, simplify and help other parents along the way. She loves to fuse her professional experience in STEM (20+yrs!) with parenthood. But always aims to make things accessible and achievable for everyone. As a busy mum of 4 she has eager participants at hand and can often be found building robots or creating crazy science experiments with her family.
